We offer different options to meet the aspirations of each one: visitors coming in Morocco for the first time, or regular to this destination ; tourists interested in a global discovery of the Moroccan culture or professionals wishing to learn a specific know-how, you should find - through our tours and training courses - the discovery that suits you best.
We establish an adapted organisation depending on your knowledge and experience of Morocco, so that your discovery takes place quietly and at your own pace.
Traditional know-how to discover Morocco
Since the beginning of its adventure, Ateliers d'ailleurs proposes to discover the Moroccan culture fom the exploration of traditional know-how, in particular regarding cooking, craft and wellbeing. Several reasons explain this choice:
- to convey a way of life: We must first remind that these various activities are the daily life of Marrakech and Moroccan inhabitants as well, in consequence they are perfectly revealing a lifestyle. Each person talks about his/ her every day life; the ways and customs of cooking and also there day life as well as the environment and atmosphere of Marrakech, these exchanges extend quickly around varied range of subjects which result a depth understanding and rich discovery of Moroccan culture.

- authenticity of meetings: meetings development at the craftman, at the height of his workshop or at the inhabitants; only small groups from 1 to 6 people maximum; no connection between your purchase and the guide remuneration So that your tours and training courses are realised through a full independence further to your aspirations.
- responsibility and ethics of our business: contribution to professionals and inhabitants of a supplementary activity that extends their skills and improves their incomes; fair remuneration for the Moroccan craftmen, consistent with a decent standard of living; business based on knowledge exchange, inexhaustible resource, rather than trade in goods; controlled impact of our activity on the usual working and life of the craftsman.

These true encounters allow an exchange of knowledge, as well as become a real opportunity (for you) to get to know men and women from (through) their everyday life, as a result you will be able to share with them some specificities of Moroccan "life style".
... learn about materials, skills and techniques, specific of the Moroccan handicrafts. Many have been used for centuries and it often takes several years to master them. About the cooking classes, you will discover throughout our lessons the rural products as well as you will pick up the knacks and learn the secrets of Moroccan food preparations and techniques, which will allow you to reproduce this know-how at your home.

Our small groups (maximum 6 persons) allow each customer to benefit from the presence of the craftsman and enjoy fully from the course, in terms of learning, exchange and social interaction, in our handicraft courses as well as in our Moroccan cooking lessons in Marrakech.
